Happy birthday to Dana Trivigno! What better way to spend your birthday than playing for Team USA in a gold medal game? Today is our last full day in the Czech and we will be playing Canada tonight at 7 p.m. CET (1 p.m. EST) in the gold medal game.
Everyone is excited about tonight and is ready to go. This morning we had a pre-game skate and then came back to the hotel for rest time. It is the typical game day procedure. Eat, sleep, and video. Nothing much left to say other than we have to give it everything we?ve got tonight!

Giovani Dos Santos scored his third Tottenham goal in four years and helped set up two more as Harry Redknapp's men cruised in to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a comfortable win over League Two side Cheltenham.
Dos Santos, who has spent most of his time at Spurs out on loan, was visibly irked when Jermain Defoe stole in to stab home from one yard after the Mexican had lobbed Cheltenham stopper Scott Brown in the first half.

But the Mexican then set up Roman Pavlyuchenko for Tottenham's second before ending the match on a high by clipping a clever shot over Brown at the death to seal the Premier League side's passage.
Dos Santos was one of several fringe players who impressed to give Redknapp reassurance that he has plenty of quality to call upon in what could be the most important six months of his managerial career.
Spurs started the day 67 places above Cheltenham in the league ladder, but the League Two title chasers started confidently.
Roared on by their 5,000 travelling fans, Kaid Mohamed tested Carlo Cudicini early on.
Danny Rose released Dos Santos down the left in Spurs' first attack, but the Mexican's poor pull-back was cut out while Pavlyuchenko was lurking unmarked in the box.

The Russian got his chance soon after when he lost his marker in the box before curling a shot just over.
Steven Elliott blocked Pienaar's goal-bound effort before Luke Garbutt almost put Rose's cross in to his own net after the England Under-21 international was picked out by a great cross-field ball from Aaron Lennon.
Russ Penn blasted a 30-yard effort just over Cudicini's goal to raise the away fans' hopes, but they were soon dashed by Defoe's opener.

Dos Santos galloped clear and lifted the ball over Scott Brown after a slide-rule pass from Kranjcar but Defoe coasted in from the right to selfishly stab home the goal-bound effort from one yard.
The striker got another chance soon after when he found space in the box but Alan Bennett came to the rescue with a crucial block.
Tottenham continued to dominate and they doubled their lead three minutes before the break.
Dos Santos played Defoe in to the box and he squared for Pavlyuchenko, who tapped in to an empty net with Brown stranded at the near post.

Mohamed sneaked in behind the Spurs defence in injury time but his shot was easily saved.
Defoe slipped past his marker at the start of the second half but Brown raced out to block the England man's shot.
Jake Livermore saw his deflected shot trickle just wide before racing back to his own box minutes later to put in a crucial sliding block during a rare Cheltenham attack.
Kranjcar then picked up the ball on the edge of the box and found Dos Santos in space, but the former Barcelona man, desperate to score after Defoe denied him a place on the scoresheet earlier, rushed his shot and skied way over.

Defoe then twisted and turned in the box to gain a yard on his two markers before blasting a shot that would have gone in had it not for a top-class diving save from Brown.
Penn slipped at the back post while unmarked to let Tottenham off during a Cheltenham attack as the visitors went through a five-minute spell of matching the hosts.
Spurs were soon back on the attack however with Pavlyuchenko, who skipped past two Robins defenders and drove towards goal but his effort was deflected wide by Elliott.

Brown spilled Kranjcar's shot with 20 minutes to go and the ball fell to Dos Santos but his volley was blocked by a sea of Cheltenham defenders.
The away fans gasped when Smikle nutmegged Rose to break free down the right and square for Penn but he miscued his shot, which flew well over.
Brown dived well to his right to deny Bassong a rare goal as Tottenham looked for a third with 10 minutes left. Michael Dawson, playing his first game since August, went in to the book for tangling with Darryl Duffy 25 yards out.
Dos Santos finally got his name on the scoresheet with four minutes left when he picked up Rose's cross to float a brilliant shot over Brown and Tottenham ran out comfortable winners.

The former CEO of Japan's disgraced Olympus, Michael Woodford, returned to Japan today where he said he will decide the future of his bid to return to his old post.
Mr Woodford, who was fired as chief executive in October and blew the whistle on a $1.7 billion accounting scandal, faces long odds in his battle with current management over future leadership of the Japanese maker of medical devices and cameras.
"There are several people I want to see to establish the way forward," Mr Woodford said in footage carried by TV Tokyo as he arrived at the capital's Narita Airport.
Asked whether he would withdraw his bid to return to Olympus' top job, he said: "At the moment, I have made no decisions at all, I need to talk to many people. I will tell everyone tomorrow."
Woodford aide Waku Miller told Reuters the ex-CEO might give a news conference tomorrow at 3pm local time, but said he had not yet made up his mind whether to abandon his campaign.
Olympus' lenders are expected to back existing managers with a plan to bring in a new domestic investor, possibly a rival such as Fujifilm Holdings Corp, to pump more capital into the firm as it tries to put the scandal behind it, according to bankers familiar with lenders' thinking.
The Nikkei business daily has reported that Olympus may issue about 100 billion yen in new preferred shares, with Sony Corp and Fujifilm seen as possible buyers.
Mr Woodford's campaign to return to Olympus has also been hobbled by an inability to spark a groundswell of support among rank-and-file employees.
His duties as president - a post he held from April - required him to spend the bulk of his time overseas where the company makes most of its revenue, an employee who described himself as a middle manager told Reuters in December on condition he not be identified.
"Few people had spoken to him and many had never seen him," said the Olympus manager, who supports Woodford's return as CEO.
Several of Olympus' large foreign shareholders, however, have backed his return.
"I think I have enough support from shareholders. That's not the issue," Mr Woodford said today. "There are many options but again, until I have these meetings, I can't conclude."
"It's the New Year so it's a good time to make decisions."
Olympus is the target of joint investigations by police, prosecutors and securities regulators, who conducted raids on company offices and former executives' homes late last month.
But the focus so far has been limited to a handful of former senior executives believed to have masterminded schemes that, with the help of investment bankers, hid investment losses dating back to the 1990s.
Olympus' shares, while down 60 per cent since the scandal, have stabilised in recent weeks as the market grew hopeful that the company could avoid a delisting of its shares over the scandal.

The Vatican said on Wednesday that Pope Benedict had accepted the resignation of Gabino Zavala, an auxiliary bishop of the diocese which has been plagued by sexual scandals.
A brief Vatican announcement did not give the reason for Zavala's resignation, saying only that the pope had accepted it under the norm in canon (Church law) that says a bishop who is ill or otherwise unfit to carry out his duties should resign.
But Zavala's direct superior, Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez, has prepared a letter for the faithful in the archdiocese explaining the circumstances of the departure of Zavala, who was assistant bishop for the San Gabriel region of California.
In the letter, a draft of which was obtained from a Catholic Church source in Rome, Gomez said Zavala, 60, had informed him in early December that he was the father of two teenage children who live with their mother in another state.
The Catholic Church demands celibacy from its priests.
"Bishop Zavala also told me that he submitted his resignation to the Holy Father in Rome, which was accepted. Since that time, he has not been in ministry and will be living privately," Gomez says in the letter.
"The Archdiocese has reached out to the mother and children to provide spiritual care as well as funding to assist the children with college costs. The family's identity is not known to the public, and I wish to respect their right to privacy," the letter says.
Gomez asked for prayers "for all those impacted by this situation and for each other as we reflect on this letter."
Zavala's resignation under a cloud was the latest headache for the diocese, which paid a $660 million settlement in 2007 for cases of sexual abuse going as far back at the 1940.
Zavala was also the latest Catholic Church official who was found to have had a secret family.
The late leader of the Legionaries of Christ religious order, Father Marcial Maciel, who died in 2008 at the age of 87, lived a double life for decades that was not discovered until after his death.
Maciel, a Mexican, was found to have abused seminarians. He was also discovered to have had a mistress with whom he had fathered several children.

Smoggy Beijing to reveal more pollution data (AP)
BEIJING ? A bureau in charge of monitoring China's frequently smog-choked capital will release more detailed reports, state media said Friday, following a public outcry over the hazards of fine particle pollution.
Beijing's decision to publish the data appeared aimed at appeasing residents' anger over the pollution and a lack of government transparency.
Frustration over the issue has been fueled by a Twitter feed set up by the U.S. Embassy in Beijing that reports air quality as measured by a monitor on the embassy roof and publishes it online every hour. Those readings include levels of fine particulate matter, or PM2.5 ? a type of pollution that Beijing authorities also measure but keep secret from the public.
China's environmental ministry has said it will factor PM2.5 into national air quality standards, but not until 2016.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Beijing's environmental protection bureau will also now post hourly online readings for PM2.5 before Chinese New Year, which begins later this month. The city already has six monitoring stations measuring PM2.5 and will add more before the end of the year, Xinhua said.
Beijing is frequently cloaked in yellow haze. Buildings a couple of blocks away are barely visible. Still, Beijing's official air quality index records the pollution as "light" ? a reading at odds with what many people experience.
Sometimes seen as soot or smoke, PM2.5 is tiny particulate matter ? less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter or approximately 1/30th the average width of a human hair ? that can result from the burning of fuels in vehicles, power plants and agriculture. Breathing such fine particles causes respiratory problems and can lead to death.
