If watching B*A*P*S doesn't prove I love you, nothing will. ? Today I ...

I couldn?t bring myself to let this film have its own day, so it?s a bonus review.

Plot

At its core, the premise of this movie isn?t that bad. It?s the way they go about it that?s the bad part.

The film gets distracted by its own ?comedy? every once in a while, never quite realizing when they?ve stretched the already-thin jokes a little too far.

Characters

Good old fashioned 1930?s cinematic racism gets updated for the 90?s in this film. Sure, the characters are mostly offensive, but I have to admit they?re occasionally funny in a stupid in a way.

Visuals

This film is starting to show its age a little, but that?s not what this section is about. It looks the way a 1997 movie should look, so there?s nothing much to discuss.

Product Placement

If I counted pointless celebrity cameos as product placement, this movie would have gotten a 1 here.

Several real stores were used during the ?shopping spree? scene, but in this case it wasn?t product placement. It was more of a ?We need to show the characters in stores. These are available? thing.

Rewatchability

Yes, it?s stupid.

Yes, it?s offensive.

Yes, I?d watch it again.
