Glashart Media introduces iPad app

Dutch FTTH provider Glashart media has launched a fully fledged iPad app for its subscribers offering all the functionality of the set-top.

The new app, which was developed by Hilversum-based Stoneroos, offers not only the EPG and allows customers to set reminders and recordings on their PVR, but viewers can also use all functionalities of the user interface, so it can double as a sophisticated remote control.

The operator offers the app for free and also said it will introduce an Android version in the near future.

Using the app, viewers can connect all the STBs in their home, make a personalised dashboard, set their favourite channels and arrange them in their preferred order, pause live TV and more.

Glashart Media is using the Amino A110 / A130(M) / A140 / M532 / M540, equipped with an Opera browser.

The operator provides the media services for XMS, Lijbrandt, Vodafone, Edutel, OnsBrabantNet, OnsNetNuenen, OnsNetEindhoven, KickXL, Solcon, Concepts-ICT, Lijbrandt Telecom, Tweak.
